Nick and I went for a long walk around our hood today after breakfast. Everyone and their dog was out and about, enjoying the sun and relative warmth. The track at McCarren Park was full of walkers and runners. The handball courts, baseball diamonds and basketball courts were also full. We lost count of all the new condos nearing completion, including the three towers overlooking the field. On our way home we browsed at the local book store and I bought a $10 shirt at the vintage clothing store. We topped off the day with an hour at the gym, burritos from Senor Taco and watching "Empire of the Sun". Good flick.
