Just Another Rainy Day
New York was rainy and cold today. I took this pic on the corner of 3rd Ave. and 57th St. during my lunch break. The woman had just put her dog down after carrying it across the street. Good lord...

This just in!
Media need to stop obsessing over former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's hooker. Her past, present and future have absolutely nothing to do with the broad scandal that led to Spitzer's disgraceful resignation on Monday. The manner in which New York's daily rags, not to mention some national media and blogs, have picked through her sordid history is nearly as trashy as Spitzer's own Viagra-induced exploits. News flash: we're in the middle of two wars, a recession and a presidential election. New York Post, wake up! (Pic taken Saturday in the West Village)
Mr. Black is Back!
This pic, of a fashionista gentleman often seen at clubs in the Village, was snapped Saturday night at the rebirth of Mr. Black's. Night life in Manhattan just hasn't been the same without Mr. Black's, which was shut down after a police raid last year. We'll see how long this one lasts.

Bloomberg HQ
This pic of Bloomberg HQ was taken today during my lunch break. Bloomberg News is located in the shorter building on the right, while the rest of the company (as well as some luxury lofts, including Beyonce's home) is located in the "Ivory Tower" to the left. The two are connected by a six-floor lobby area, seen in the middle.

View from Brooklyn Heights
These photographs were taken today from the promenade in Brooklyn Heights. Nick and I were visiting our friends Alex and Daniel, who recently moved to the area. Brooklyn Heights is really lovely.
